Plant Propagation Workshop

Join Sustainable Communities SA's Anne Wilson and Pauline Muir for this hands-on propagation workshop.

This comprehensive workshop will demonstrate striking media (the potting mix, hormone gel, honey, honey and vegemite, or willow water) as well as discuss the importance of sterilisation, tools, moisture levels and their maintenance, types of cuttings, lessening transpiration rate and layering.

Pots, soil, striking media and some plant materials will be provided. Participants are invited to bring along their own cuttings of plant material they would like to propagate.
