Nature Festival at the Joinery

From 6–16 October, the Joinery is home once again to an incredible line-up of events for the third annual Nature Festival!

From sustainability to conservation, we're running and hosting a range of inspiring events for this exciting South Australian festival celebrating our incredible environment.

Ever wanted to learn more about that intriguing building on Franklin Street? We're proud to host a series of guided tours around The Joinery, the front door for the environment in SA. What was once the old bus station has now been transformed into a vibrant community centre and environmental hub!

Our guided tours will walk you through the centre and surrounding areas, introducing you to the Adelaide Sustainability Centre, Common Ground Community Garden, solar demonstration site, upcycled furniture, rain garden and other sustainability displays, murals and more.
