Native Food Gardening

rubysaltbush.jpg

Steven Hoepfner from Wagtail Urban Farm brings his deep passion for native foods to life in an extremely informative and practical talk on food and medicinal plants native to South Australia.

Learn what grows best here, why local natives are easier to care for, how opinions on native foods have changed over time and favoured recipes to enjoy the spoils from your garden. Some plants and books will be available for purchase on the day.

A parkland walk to identify some plants and their uses will end this workshop.
