An evening workshop all about upcycling and recycling, giving a new life to preloved items and creating lasting beautiful jewellery.
Join Textile Artist Michelle Jahn to make folded paper jewellery from recycled paper/card and learn how to use a template to create your own sizes and shapes of beads. During the workshop you will learn how to cut, roll, fix, embellish and varnish your beads. Three types of glue will be made available, including vegan-friendly options.
All Materials Supplied - $25
Participants are invited to bring any inclusions you wish to add to your necklace/bracelet you will make with your paper beads, such as items from old jewellery or a special letter you wish to incorporate.
You will receive expert guidance and assistance from Michelle, to help you create a personal piece of paper jewellery to accessorise your wardrobe. Every participant will be able to complete one paper jewellery project during the workshop. You are welcome to purchase a second bag of materials to take with you another project to do at home.
Your paper jewellery will be a personally created piece of art that you will continue to enjoy wearing for years to come.
