Eco Families Adelaide
Bring along your baby or toddler to our group exploring eco and sustainable living for families. Sessions are family-friendly and all are welcome. Our meet ups provide the opportunity to learn a new skill and mingle with other liked minded families on the sustainability journey.
Preserving Tomatoes (Sundried and Bottled)
There's no such thing as too many tomatoes! The end of summer's tomato season often brings an abundance of ripe, juicy tomatoes. Join Casandra Loveday Ramirez to learn two simple methods of preserving tomatoes for a year-long supply: bottling and sun drying. Samples will be available to try on the day.
$5 per person + booking fee (adult tickets only need to be purchased, children are free). Recipes and samples provided.
The Eco Families group is a community venture in different regions across South Australia and is supported by the Adelaide Sustainability Centre and Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board.
