In Conversation with Tom Fleischner

Stories from the American Campfire: Conservation Strategy and Practice in the USA

Professor Fleischner is a renowned natural historian and Director of the Natural History Institute at Prescott College. His work explores connections between sciences, humanities, and public policy, and between analytical and creative modes of thought.

A researcher and author of note, he is also committed to making things happen on-ground to enhance our practices and our relationships with the natural world.

This presentation followed by a Q&A will provide a rare opportunity to meet someone for whom the expansive practice of natural history is their bread and butter.
