Biodiversity Month is held in September each year and aims to promote the importance of protecting, conserving and improving biodiversity both within Australia and across the world. The team at The Joinery is thrilled to present some great biodiversity activities in and around Adelaide.
We are promoting multiple biodiversity walks as well as hosting a range of displays, talks and events, so come in and see what's happening here at The Joinery!

5-30 September: Art exhibition Come in and check out the wonderful work of artist Adrian Headland
11 September: Tennyson Dunes Open Day Help Conservation SA member group Tennyson Dunes Group fcelebrate their 21st birthday with expert speakers, kids' activities, talks by coastcare volunteers, stalls and lunch by the Kiwanis.
16 September: Reef Watch Quiz Night A great night out for young and old and you don't even have to know about fish!
20 September: Grassland Walk with Adelaide City Council Guided walk through Adelaide's Grey Box grassy woodland remnant with Liam Crook

Weeds touch table
Come and get up close and personal with some of the weedy species in the Adelaide Hills. Weeds can be a threat to both plant and animal biodiversity. Find out what you can do to help, and learn about some great native species you can plant in your garden.
