Plastic Free July... Where to start? Going plastic free for a month... should be easy enough right? I don't use that much plastic. I can bring my own containers shopping, and I already use my own bags. Then, we start having a little think about it... and the harsh reality sinks in. Plastic is freakin EVERYWHERE!! This workshop focusses on the easy ways to make a difference in your everyday lives. Environmental pollution can be tackled in the shopping aisle. With tips and tricks on how to live a life less plastic - we'll cover shopping, food, cleaning and body care choices. Product displays and a chance to purchase plastic alternatives will be available on the night. Bulk food store The Source will be there to demonstrate how easy it is to use your own containers, as well as Wrappa Bees with some great reusable wrap options and beautiful handmade soaps by Petrichor Soaps.
