Living Building Challenge - Information session and discussion

Information session and discussion on how to create Living Buildings in South Australia

What if every single act of design made the world a better place?

Imagine a building designed and constructed to function as elegantly and efficiently as a flower: a building adapted to its climate and site, that generates all of its own energy with renewable resources, captures and treats all of its water and that operates efficiently and with maximum beauty.

Join Ken Long as he introduces the Living Building Challenge, a certification program that is the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment today. It acts to rapidly diminish the gap between current limits and the ideal solutions which are needed for regenerative futures. Ken’s talk will include case studies of Living Buildings in Australia and around the world, and discuss how we can create Living Buildings in South Australia.

This information session is for architects, designers, dreamers and anyone with an interest in creating a sustainable future for all…
