After a few months of planning, applications and crossed-fingers, the really hard work started when Conservation SA got the keys to 111 Franklin Street late last year.
As you could have guessed from looking at the outside of the building, the inside was similarly rundown. Nothing that a lick of paint (and knocking down a couple of walls, laying down new carpet, and scrubbing those toilets) couldn’t fix!
And we could not have done it without the amazing help of people volunteering over the holiday season to roll up their sleeves. Thank you so much to everyone!
By end of January we were all set up in our beautiful new offices upstairs. It feels good to be home.
