It’s all about engaging with the process! Marks and Music has been designed to step you out of constraints of perfection and expectation into the enjoyment of the creative process. Using a range of explorative mark making activities to open your mind to further creative applications.
You will learn about
- Strategies for unleashing your creativity and engaging with the creative process
- Exploration of mark making using a range of found and specific tools for creating interesting marks and impressions in paint
Ideal for
In this workshop, its not about what you have done already you can be a complete newby, just joining in to enjoy the process of creating art through to an accomplished artist interested in being creative with group of other people. This is about the process not the end result so your previous art experience shall remain anonymous.
What to Bring
A sense of play and fun
Wear old clothes or bring an apron or old shirt to cover your good cloths
Optional.. random items that you think could make interesting marks in paint, this could be shaped rubber, a leaf, etc (there will be lots of these types of things available on the night so it is not essential)
Disposable or reusable rubber gloves, if you would prefer not to get paint on you skin
