The Wonderful World of Frogs

A nature connection program for the home school community.

 

Come and hear about some of the weird and wonderful ways frogs survive in a large range of environments. You should walk away with some fun, fascinating facts about these amazingly adaptable amphibians.

Join local frog expert Steve Walker from Natural Resources Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges to hear the truth about the world of frogs, including why many stories about frogs are just plain wrong. You will also find out about how to get involved in Natural Resources AMLR’s new frog citizen science program FrogWatch SA!

A program developed for the home school community.

1.30 - 2.30 - Learn about local frogs as well as some of the more interesting species from around the world.

Break - we'll provide fruit to share.

2.45 - 3.30 - FrogWatch SA, Steve will guide you through how to use the app to learn about frogs in your local area and how you can contribute to scientists knowledge of frogs in South Australia. Bring along your phone/tablet to download the FrogSpotter app to participate.
