Edible Flowers Workshop & Afternoon Tea

Not just pretty to look at... edible flowers add colour, flavour and a little whimsy to your food.

big_mix.jpgJoin Sarah Kibble, from Honest Earth, as we discuss and share ideas for eating home-grown flowers.

Ideal for novice and aspiring gardeners, this workshop includes: an introduction to edible flowers, garden walk through our on-site community garden to identify and harvest flowers, recipe demonstration and afternoon tea preparation (salad making and cake decorating), shared afternoon tea, growing tips including seasonal requirements and companion planting, and time for questions. Notes will be provided to workshop participants.

The Adelaide Sustainability Centre is supported by the Adelaide Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board and Conservation Council of South Australia.
