Native Bees In Your Backyard

An introduction to native bees and how to get these pollinators in your garden!

Blue_Banded_Bee.jpgJoin Jenny Deans for this family-friendly workshop to learn more about the special role of our native bees.  This workshop will include a tour of the Common Ground community garden at the Joinery to identify bee friendly practices and various pollinators, and participants will build a bee hotel to take home.

Jenny Deans from Cosmophylla Garden Services and Advice is a passionate gardener and environmentalist with a love for exploring the wonders of the natural world with children. She has run native bee workshops at Stirling's Old School Community Garden and the Seed Freedom Food Festival.
